blankets + throws
Our gorgeous 100% wool throws and blankets add an elegant but cozy layer to any home. Perfect for the couch, layer on the end of your bed, or to snuggle up under for an evening outdoors.
Showcasing exceptional artisanal craftsmanship and the finest New Zealand wool we can source, our blankets and throws are made to be used and loved, for generations.

Woven on our rare semi-automated Hattersley looms, using 1895 technology and only our hands and feet, our very limited collection of blankets and throws tell stories of our heritage, traditional craftsmanship, our place in Aotearoa New Zealand and timeless beauty.

Every one of our blankets and throws are made by us. Woven in our weaving shed and hand finished in our workroom - everything is done by hand, even down to the hand stitched labels.
Due to the "fit for purpose" design of our looms in 1895, the width of our fabric varies between 80 - 86cm. In order to create our blankets and throws, two or three widths of fabric are stitched together. We have developed a neat, artisanal hand stitched seam feature, another aspect to the stories our blankets and throws share.

We recommend spot cleaning and airing your throw as needed.
Although you can machine wash this throw on a gentle wool wash, we recommend washing gently by hand using an eco-friendly wool wash.
