Our Derwent diamond twill collection is woven using natural white New Zealand Halfbred yarn grown on the hinterlands of the South Island, spun in Christchurch and then woven by Rod on our Hattersley dobby loom in our weaving shed in historic Oamaru.

Rod wove 30 metres of this soft, snuggly fabric especially to be made into little blankets for babies. The fabric is approximately 82cm wide and the blankets can be any length you wish, with either a frayed, stitched or hand crocheted edge - just ask and Sue will make it
and send it to you within two weeks.
